Description Hylke Bons 2011-08-21 12:15:27 UTC
in the System Info panel there's a button that allows you to install updates. Only, it's not obvious at all that this is the case as the button is labeled with a status message [Updates Available] instead of action. It doesn't tell me what will happen when I click it.

Some suggestions for improvement:

"[Software Update]" (it's kind of a place, not great, but better than the current label)
"[Install Updates]" (disabled when there are no updates available)
"X updates are available [Install Updates]"

info: Make "updates" button labels clearer

"System Up-To-Date" when there's nothing to update,
"Install Updates" when there is something to install,
"Checking for Updates" when, well, doing that.
