Description Nick Richards 2011-08-20 13:09:11 UTC
As sushi is opened on a file for the first time a borderless window appears to be opened first which has some of the content in, before the application displays. This could well be a mutter bug so feel free to reassign there if required, but it doesn't look very good at all.

This is how it looks here: http://i.imgur.com/WjVmR.gif

There’s another window mapped at a different location that seems to vary and shift around.

On my other box with nvidia driver I also get random pixel garbage in that early window.

Just starting up also takes a just little too long for a quick previewer.

This seems to be have been fixed as a side effect of http://git.gnome.org/browse/sushi/commit/?id=46872624f3c7e14a081dc410dc95047728178470

Please reopen if you can still reproduce with that commit.
Comment 4 Tobias Wolf 2012-04-11 21:13:04 UTC
Reopening. It’s still there. Also full-screen doesn’t work on Ubuntu.
Comment 5 Cosimo Cecchi 2012-04-11 21:25:19 UTC
Yeah; full screen has been fixed with http://git.gnome.org/browse/sushi/commit/?h=gnome-3-4&id=a7327d0f023f5486e48f67328104fc3258b1683f - the glitch is still there unfortunately :(

It seems that this is also reported against GTK for a different application. Closing as a duplicate.
