Description Nick Richards 2011-08-20 13:00:44 UTC
The sushi preview should be updated when the nautilus focus changes as it is confusing (especially to long term users of Quick Look) for the preview to be out of sync with the content.

(n.b. this may be a nautilus bug, feel free to move if you think it is).

This would give a barebones way to update the file being previewed in sushi without first having to close sushi, adjust the selection, and then reopen it.

Adding keyboard support so users could arrow through different previews would be ideal.

I see no way to update the file being previewed in .4.1, and have to close it and switch files manually before opening it again, which is much messier and awkward to use than simply changing what sushi is looking at from within sushi itself.

This is not a duplicate. You have a circular link by claiming the other bug is a duplicate and also here a claim that this is a duplicate.

Is there any plan about when the solution could be proposed/implemented?

Is there any technical limitation of accomplishing the feature?

I'm implementing this in https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/sushi/issues/5.
