Description Jeremy Bicha 2011-08-13 03:37:25 UTC
Originally reported at https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/yelp-xsl/+bug/750287

Basically, yelp 2.30 in Ubuntu 10.04 nicely displays numbered footnotes. With Yelp 3.0 (included in Ubuntu 11.04), the footnotes no longer have numbers. This is bad because there is no link from the cited text to its citation and it also looks bad in the citations section if there are multiple footnotes (which there often are). I have no idea how common footnotes are in Gnome Help, but this is a regression in Docbook presentation.

And not only numbers, but hyperlinked numbers.
