Description Gabor Kelemen 2011-08-12 18:32:53 UTC
Spotted here: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xchat-gnome/+bug/785740/comments/12

xchat-gnomes current translation[1] contains this:

#: ../src/common/textevents.h:51
msgid "%UChannel Users Topic%O"
msgstr "%UCanal Utilizadores Tópico%0"

Changing the %O to %0 in the translation is incorrect, and may crash the application.

Hello!

Thank you for bringing this bug upstream, since the (bad) Ubuntu translation was also imported upstream without my knowledge.

I've fixed that possible crasher and revised the complete translation, that contained many other errors (although non-crashers) (committed to master).

In the end, all (Portuguese) users will benefit from your report.

Best regards,
Duarte Loreto
