Description Adam Williamson 2011-08-11 02:21:46 UTC
I'm on current Fedora 16, evolution-3.1.4-1.fc16 (the fix in -2 doesn't look relevant to this). After Evo has been running for a while, I'll get a message like this in an orange box above the current folder's message list:

"Error while Storing folder 'Inbox'.

Cannot open maildir directory path: /home/adamw/.local/share/evolution/mail/local/.: Too many open files"

I do have quite a lot of mail (hard to add it all up, I have tons of folders). The mail is on an IMAP server on my local network, I use IMAP+ protocol to access it. Closing and restarting Evo makes it work okay for a while.
