alternate-tab: thumbnails reflect aspect ratio

The scale factor for proper thumbnail aspect ratio was being computed
but not applied, it is now applied to the thumbnail sizes.

This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
