see missing feature, wrong manual and waste of space

Nautilus misses the essential "use compact layout" feature for the icon view. When not activated, only one out of 2 columns are used to display images, wasting as much space. The online nautilus manual does mention it should be there. I guess the manual hasn't been updated in version 3 to exclude its missing features.

This has been rewritten for 3.2, see http://library.gnome.org/users/gnome-help/3.2/nautilus-views.html
