GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 656167
Contact blocking dialog is the wor… is really tiny and ugly
Last modified: 2018-05-22 14:57:16 UTC
Hello. The contact blocking dialog doesn't look very good. http://wjt.me.uk/misc/blocking-before.png I made it look better. http://wjt.me.uk/misc/blocking-after.png Here is a branch: http://cgit.collabora.com/git/user/wjt/empathy.git/log/?h=blockade I hope you enjoy it!
Yes please!
In the future we could add a + button next to the - one which pops up a modal dialog from the top to add a contact, no? I can't find an example of how that kin of thing is done in GNOME3. :-(
Merged, thanks. I'm leaving the bug open for further improvements to this dialog. Its main remaining issue currently is that introspecting all the connections and getting all the 'deny' lists takes *forever*, so the dialog pops up empty, with no accounts in the picker, and then suddenly resizes itself and populates the picker. (In reply to comment #2) > In the future we could add a + button next to the - one which pops up a modal > dialog from the top to add a contact, no? Well, this window is already a dialog … I'm not sure of the ethics of dialogs opening dialogs. :) (It's done by setting one window transient for another.)
