Description Selvan 2011-08-04 12:08:16 UTC
Hi all,

Evolution version:2.32.2
Under Mail Preferences in General tab, I have unchecked the "Mark
Messages as read after 10 seconds" setting. Now, when I double click and
open an email I received, the received email does not change its status
to "read". The email is bold faced to indicate that it is an unread
email. Also, the number next to the Inbox includes this email also as
unread.

Only when I reply to a received email, and only when the replied email
gets in to the Sent mail folder, the email changes its status to "read".
Or, after highlighting the email, I have to right click on it and click
the menu "Mark as read".

Is there a way to get the incoming email to change its status to "read"
when I double click on an email to read it?

Thank you for your help.

Thanks for a bug report. This one was filled and fixed already, thus I'm marking it as a duplicate.
