Description bartrouw 2011-07-20 09:57:24 UTC
What I did:
Start from 2 instances of gedit (not a top window in the same instance). Drag some text from 1 instance to the other (both directions will do).

What I expected:
Seamless drag an drop functionality.

What happened:
Both instances of gedit crashed completely.

p.s.:
The occurance of this bug seems a bit artificial. However, it happened to me in a regular workflow.
p.p.s. I managed to open two instances of gedit by opening one from the unity panel in ubuntu and by opening a text document from the default filemanager (nautilus).

gedit 2.30.4-2ubuntu1

I get the same bug, by opening one file from Gedit and another from the terminal in Ubuntu 11.10. Can't do anything except hold super down to see the launcher, then hit ctrl-alt-f1 to open an X terminal and restart.

gedit 3.2.3-0ubuntu0.1
gnome 3.2
ubuntu 11.10
linux 3.0.0-generic-15
