GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 654905
Add 'proxy' debugging support
Last modified: 2018-05-24 13:14:04 UTC
Created attachment 192243 [details] [review] patch for initial comments PoC patch. Quoting davidz: > Would be nice to have good G_DBUS_DEBUG=proxy support - your paste is lacking a bit though... first order of business would be to figure out what events should be logged... probably creation, deletion, signal reception... open a bug and let's talk? Review of attachment 192243 [details] [review]: > open a bug and let's talk? That evidently didn’t happen according to plan. Richard, this looks good to me (and still applies!). If you could add a commit message to the patch, add any other debug paths you want (I realise that’s unlikely, 6 years on) and resubmit, I’ll merge it. While it won’t be comprehensive debugging for GDBusProxy, it’ll be a start which people can build on as needed.
