Description Jani Monoses 2011-07-12 18:34:58 UTC
On ARM sockaddr has different alignment constraints than sockaddr_in and sockaddr_in6 so when -Wcast-align is set gcc warns and leads to failed build (when warnings treated as errors)
This patch worked around it in the Ubuntu/ARM build.

Attaching patches in Bugzilla as attachment and setting the "Patch" flag makes it possible to query for them...

Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-06-10 11:23:14 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version of gnome-dictionary, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-dictionary/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
