Description Rik van Riel 2011-07-05 16:30:29 UTC
Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

gnome-shell-3.0.2-3.fc15.x86_64

Steps to Reproduce:
1. run gnome-shell with multiple monitors
2. run a browser or email client on a secondary monitor
3. move down to another workspace on the main monitor (ctrl+alt+down)
4. open an attachment to an email or a pdf from a web page
5. ... wait

Actual results:

Nothing happens on the current workspace. Press ctrl-alt-up to go to the top
workspace, find pop-up "what to do with this document" window sitting there.

Expected results:

PDF document gets opened on my current workspace, where I am trying to do work
now.

To clarify, applications started from a secondary monitor (eg. opening email attachments) always show up on workspace 1, even if the current workspace is another one.

Pretty sure this was fixed long ago.
