Description jerryd 2011-07-03 14:28:32 UTC
Using the x10y key to enter values in scientific notation requires surrounding the value with parenthesis to assure proper evaluation order of the expression.

Example: 3 x10y 8 / 7.0 x10y 6 gives 42857142857142.857143. The correct answer should be 42.857142857142857143.

If this behavior is intended, I suggest changing the operator precedence rule or add a EE key instead.

I am running 6.1 version in Fedora 15.

Example easier to check: 2 x10y 3 / 1 x10y 2 (this would be 2000/100 for humans, result should be 20) returns 2000*100=200000.
