In Gnome 3.0.1 in Fedora 15, when I try to apply an effect, it is never applied. Strangely, the effects appear correctly in the preview thumbnails, though some effects like Cartoon and Che Guevara do not even show up in preview. In the 2.x versions of Cheese, effects always worked for my webcam.
