2) OPen it with evince
Expected result: the file should be shown as in the screenshot: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/evince/+bug/565823/+attachment/1497267/+files/okular.png
What happens instead: a file with many white pages is opened. WHen selecting all,  the text becomes visible.

Still valid in 3.2.1.

This is fixed in Evince 3.7.5 using poppler 0.22.1 and cairo 1.12.14.
