All the templates targetting desktop applications should automatically create .desktop files with the information given by the project-wizard.

Good idea, but do you know what is needed inside these files?

I have looked at anjuta's desktop file and except _Name and Exec most other fields cannot be filled by the project wizard, or we need to ask more informations like (comment, icon, type, categories...)

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all
old feature requests in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.
