GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 653237
Missing icon on Take Photo button
Last modified: 2011-09-28 20:44:05 UTC
Created attachment 190512 [details] Screenshot The "Take Photo" button shows the "missing" icon. This may be due to the use of a deprecated icon name. I use Fedora 15 and the gnome-icon-theme in this release does no longer ship legacy icon name links.
The icon in question is a GTK+ stock icon (gtk-media-record, installed as gtk-media-record.png, which is a symlink to media-record.png, which is shipped with gnome-icon-theme), and seems to work fine in the default install of Fedora 15 for me. You can try to find it in /usr/share/icons/gnome/22x22/actions.
With recent updates, I only really see what is described in bug 656989 now. Note that Fedora does no longer ship compat links for legacy icon names anymore, so there is no gtk-media-record in /usr/share/icons/gnome/*/actions/. But I guess the one compiled into GTK should have been shown.
The current behaviour seems to be a duplicate of bug 656989, and a preliminary fix is available in that bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 656989 ***
