Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so and reopen this bug or report a new one. Thanks in advance!
Ok, i'll try to rebuild with debug and reproduce this error.

I have the same symptoms with appointments and tasks (Evolution 2.32.3). Could it be related to bug #649787?
*** Bug 653727 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. ***
This might be it: > ** Gtk **: IA__gtk_tree_model_get_column_type: assertion `index >= 0' failed > ** Gtk **: IA__gtk_combo_box_text_get_active_text: assertion `column_type == > G_TYPE_STRING' failed Please tell your distro to try bug #637252 comment #3. I believe it'll work, and thus this can be marked as a duplicate of that bug, thus I would like you to confirm it first. Thanks in advance.
works for me with 3.0.3
Now in 2.32.3 everything is looks fine.
