Description Ondra Pelech 2011-06-22 14:39:53 UTC
File-roller should use PackageKit to automatically install needed tools for various archives.

(like https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=653139 )

PackageKit is already supported, maybe you are using a version that was not compiled with PK support.
Comment 2 Ondra Pelech 2011-06-22 23:05:41 UTC
I'm using Fedora 15

file-roller isn't able to automatically install not just ar (from binutils) but also lzma

how can I know, whether I'm using PK-enabled version?
should I file a bug at RedHat?
