GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 652933
svg icons are not properly resized
Last modified: 2013-12-19 11:10:52 UTC
Created attachment 190198 [details] Screenshot showing how different sizes are used depending on icon This was reported downstream at: http://bugs.gentoo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=364259 I am seeing this for years but never reported it as I wasn't sure who was the culprit or, even, if it was really a bug: When icon theme doesn't provide png icons for every size (like 24x24), apps (like gmenu-simple-editor, gnome-panel, firefox) show icons in a bigger and inconsistent size. Thanks a lot for your assistance
Any idea about where the problem could be? Not sure if gdk-pixbuf is the responsible of handling this or not :-/ Thanks
not a gdk-pixbuf bug - its just the way the icon-theme spec works if not all sizes are available
