GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 652925
[gtk2] after 2.24.4 -> 2.24.5 update, windows of programs that use wxGTK can't be resized

Archlinux, fully updated, x86_64 After gtk2 2.24.4 -> 2.24.5 update: - windows of programs that use wxGTK (2.8.12) can't be resized (and they need a "killall" for closing...) You can try with Filezilla (3.5.0) and Aegisub (svn 5415) (this latter can't even open videos anymore). Even xchat and xchat-systray-integration are affected: - xchat segfaults when the "notify highlight" plugin is used (it's a perl script) - xchat-systray-integration causes the user list panel to appear blank, without user names displayed. Downgrading gtk2 to 2.24.4 fixes everything. The Archlinux packager found the relevant commit and suggested the fix. I can confirm that it works. After reverting the patch, all of the above is fixed. Here's the bugreport: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/24784
I believe that this is fixed in 2.24.6
