GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 652688
Install scripts gtksourceview-check-lang and gtksourceview-check-style
Last modified: 2018-05-26 13:49:07 UTC
The test scripts run during "make check" don't looke like they need to be installed. Add them to EXTRA_DIST instead so they are added to the tarball.
Why do you say that they are installed? Checking the Makefile.am I don't see that we are installing them.

He probably means file such as "check_language.sh" and "check_style.sh" which come installed on debian and ubuntu gtksourceview packages (see http://packages.ubuntu.com/natty/all/libgtksourceview-3.0-common/filelist ).
Created attachment 237034 [details] [review] Don't install check-language.sh and check-style.sh But the scripts are still distributed in the tarballs.
well, I have no problem with that patch for now, but it would probably be nice to actually install those scripts so that people writing lang files and style schemes can use them. They would obviously have to be renamed gtksourceview-check-lang etc

It's unlikely that this feature is ever going to be implemented, so I close the bug.
