empathy icq workaround not working

Hello everyone, connecting to icq with empathy gave me the famous "network error" bug. The solution proposed on the gnome3 website does not work for me, mc-tool update haze/icq/_3*****0 bool:use-ssl=0 replies with mc-tool update: Protocol 'icq' does not have parameter 'use-ssl' mc-tool list |grep icq gets me haze/icq/_3*****0 running on Ubuntu 11.04 plus Gnome3 from the PPA Regards, JTK
FYI, I tried pidgin instead which still works while Empathy from F15 doesn't.

I have this bug too. Ubuntu 11.04 x64 plus classic Gnome 2.32
