GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 652323
Screen isn't locked after suspend by closing laptop lid
Last modified: 2011-06-10 23:23:09 UTC
After closing the laptop lid and reopening it, the computer is unlocked and I don't have to enter my password to access my desktop. This is insecure. If I manually suspend, I have to unlock my desktop.
Please check the lock settings in System Setting's "Screen" panel - currently there's a bug which results in the setting being ignored when suspending manually (see bug 652327), but it's supposed to work correctly when closing the laptop lid.
Yeah but it doesn't. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 650464 ***
