Those two modules are not maintained anymore.

fast-user-switch-applet was integrated in gdm in GNOME 2, and is now unneeded in GNOME 3 (there's a me menu in the panel).

resapplet got deprecated in GNOME 2, thanks to an icon in the notification area, and even this got removed in GNOME 3.

Code hasn't move in ages for both.

Note: once this is done, we should ping the bugsquad so that they appropriately close bugs in the products for those modules.
