Notice Transparent Bar on the Icons in the highlighted area.

I have being using Gnome Shell in Fedora 15 x64 fully update. I can see a transparent bar in Gnome Shell Applications menu. When I click Activities and then Go to Applications.
The line stays stationary & appears top of all icons & text.
It does not appear on Windows Expose

Sounds like a driver bug. Your best bet is reporting it to the driver's developers upstream at https://bugs.freedesktop.org/enter_bug.cgi?product=Mesa. Component should be Drivers/Gallium/r600.

Provide them the info you reported here.

Sir
I have reported it on the link you provided.
If you too can comment there it would be great.
Anyways thanks for the help.

If you scroll all the way to the stop does the line disappear?
Comment 6 Akash Yadav 2011-06-10 18:17:07 UTC
@ Jasper No Sir it is visible whenever an Icon or text come over it because it is very thin sometimes icons and text does not overlap it therefore it does not appear. Here are some more screen shots.

Comment 9 Akash Yadav 2011-06-10 18:25:10 UTC
@Jasper As you can see from previous screen-shots you can see no icon or text overlaps it therefore it is not visible.
Comment 10 Jasper St. Pierre (not reading bugmail) 2011-06-10 18:27:50 UTC
OK, this is an StScrollViewFade bug, so it's probably a bug in GLSL (or Clutter/Cogl effects).
Comment 11 Akash Yadav 2011-06-11 07:23:13 UTC
So will the bug get fixed in future from here or should I report it somewhere else also.

This looks like a driver bug and you already reported it in fdo's bugzilla, so no you don't need yet another bug report.

This seems to be fixed upstream. But the fix isn't in any released mesa version yet AFAICT. See https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=38163.

I'm going to close this as NOTGNOME anyway.
