Description xenhu134 2011-06-04 21:55:25 UTC
I had duplicates in my library after migrating from an other application. I had several versions of a few songs, with 100% same title, and pointing apparently to the 100% same mp3 files. I tried removing the doubles. At next startup I got notification that some mp3 files were missing.

If user's intent is to delete unnecessary duplicate entries from the song list the application should make sure it doesn't have any impact on the entries NOT intended for deletion. There should be cross-checking against such behaviour.

Rhythmbox ruined my music collection by behaving in non-expected way. :(
