Description Torsten Römer 2011-06-03 00:00:19 UTC
In the gnome-shell menu, there is an item "Suspend" to suspend the PC, but none to hibernate.

I can hibernate with the power button and it works fine, but the option is really missing in the menu.

That's essentially part of the general debate around the power menu. Welcome to the flamewar! ;-)

:-) Sorry for the duplicate, I should make more effort finding existing bugs.
