Terminal output that occurs with a particular theme (Aldabra)

Original bug posted at:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-control-center/+bug/791787

I've been able to reproduce the bug on my laptop, also Ubuntu 11.04 64bit. So to sum it up more clearly:

I'm using 1:2.32.1-0ubuntu15 (gnome-control-center)

What I expected to happen: Installing themes by dragging and dropping the theme into appearance manager themes, says "installed successfully" and then works no problem.

What actually happened: When I install a particular theme by dragging and dropping, I get the terminal output posted above. With other themes, though the GUI reports having "installed successfully", they are not installed successfully, but I don't get that terminal output.

How to reproduce it: Even just launching gnome-appearance-properties will give the above output, no matter which theme is selected (even default Ambiance theme). However, deleting one particular theme from my home/.themes directory seems to make it go away. Deleting that theme manually within appearance manager doesn't actually remove it from that directory, so the output still occurs.

I'm starting to think these are 2 possibly unrelated bugs: one with a particular theme, and one with appearance manager. I would greatly appreciate input from someone more knowledgeable :)

I've resolved it. It appears to a bug that is particular to Adwaita and all themes derived from it, and I've already contacted some of the theme developers.

Actually even without the themes installed, the output comes up, so it is a bug in Gnome.

The "Appearance" capplet is now gone in GNOME 3, and most of its code was rewritten. If you experience problems using the "Background" panel in GNOME 3's system settings, please file a new bug.
