Description Michael Biebl 2011-06-01 12:09:17 UTC
Hi,

brasero can be built with tracker support. It uses tracker 0.8 for that, which has been declared obsolete by its developers and is no longer supported.
brasero should be updated to use tracker 0.10

tracker 0.10 still ships libtracker-client, although its library name has changed to libtracker-client-0.10 (including the pkg-config).
At the very least, the configure check needs to be updated to use tracker-client-0.10.

That said, libtracker-client has been deprecated [1] in favor of libtracker-sparql [2].

Brasero is now using libtracker-sparql instead.

Thanks
