Description ecyrbe 2011-05-29 12:44:43 UTC
As explained in bug Bug 651366, this is a patch to add g_settings_try_new to allow plugin devs to check for schemas, because otherwise the plugin could make the whole application abort.

I know that a similar, by more complex patch was already rejected, but i didn't know it existence before writing it.
So i submit it anyway, and i'll try to submit a g_settings_exists() as you seems more open to this one.
