Description Hilbert Wang 2011-05-28 23:52:39 UTC
I ran gst-inspect --help or gst-inspect --help-all....
i only saw help information for --help, -h, -p,--gst-mm,--list-gst-mm.

i did not saw --help-gst.

however gst-inspect --help-gst worked.

without the prompt of --help-gst,it took me long time to search for --gst-plugin-path.

i was interested in fix it so that users could get
the help quickly.

gst-inspect is only a wrapper that calls gst-inspect-0.10, gst-inspect-0.11 or gst-inspect-0.8, depending on the "default" GStreamer version. As a wrapper it only gives you its own parameters and only when it calls the real executable you will get the real parameters (which could also be different from version to version).
