GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 651357
"Get better help", suggesting new topic on how to really get more help
Last modified: 2011-11-10 10:13:02 UTC
The guide includes a page "get more help", but in fact it does not say how to get more help (but how to use the guide, and how to report a bug). This is frustrating. Suggesting to add a topic describing how to really "get more help", including: - which irc channels, and how to do (see also irc/IM) - which mailing list, and how to do (see also email) - which user forum Also suggesting to rename get-involved title from "Found a problem?" to "Participate to improve this guide"
- renamed "Found a problem?" to "Participate to improvfe this guide." On gnome-3-0 branch. Agree with topics to be written: - irc-channels - mailing-list - user-forum Created stub pages. Thank-you for the suggestions.
Created attachment 200745 [details] [review] Add more content for irc, mailing-list. I added some text for IRC and mailing-list page, I didn't added a section for forum because there is no official GNOME forum.
Review of attachment 200745 [details] [review]: Hi Baptiste, I have pushed the patch to master, and made a couple of small grammatical changes. Thank-you for your patch :-) Tiffany
