Description G. Michael Carter 2011-05-27 13:13:00 UTC
I'm a pure keyboard user so hot keys like CTRL-ALT up/down and CTRL-ALT-SHIFT up/down are how I navigate quickly.

I was watching my wife use Gnome-Shell and she's the complete opposite. You could pretty much remove the keyboard and she can work.

Currently for her to move between virtual desktops she needs to open the overview page, move to the other side of the screen (she has a big screen) find the desktop and click. If she wants to move one window it's still seems a little over kill on the overview page.

I have two suggestions:

1. Have it so you can use the mouse scroll wheel to switch virtual desktops. Just move the mouse to the background and scroll. or something like that...

2. Have it so windows can be dragged to other the next desktop, or maybe use the scroll wheel on the title bar of the window.
