Banshee.log

Running Ubuntu 11.04 full. Will attach banshee log to this report.

I have looked at similar reports on this website however they are slightly different and using the latest unstable version from the PPA does not fix this problem for me either.

The problem was intermittent in 11.04 beta. But is now consistent in 11.04 Full.

Please help :/

Banshee.log attached, retrieved using the following code: kill -s QUIT $(pidof banshee); cp ~/.config/banshee-1/log ~/Desktop/banshee.log

Just changing around options to see if anything works, tried the option to Fix Metadata and duplicate artists. Upon execution it crashed out again.

I have disabled the general update metadata option in the preferences but it still crashes as usual.

Thanks but this seriously needs a quick fix as people will be put off the entire Linux platform with Windows like behaviour, we need to try and grow support not flatline.

We agree this needs a fix, but a bug has already been open in the past about this, so this is a duplicate.

If you find a fix, please attach your patch to bug 621057.

Thanks very much.
