Description Nguyen Thai Ngoc Duy 2011-05-24 15:47:01 UTC
My question after I created a saved search was: how can I delete it? If I delete the saved search, are all matched files gone too?

I guess not, but I'll stick with my ignorance for safety. Maybe we should clarify that a saved search is like a file, and can be manipulated like a file, not an actual directory.

I would say that deleting saved search folders does not actually delete the found files. But that is OK too.

You're absolutely right. I realized that my first patch did not quite cover it, so I updated it on git. Here is the new text:

In order to remove the search
file when you are done with it, simply
<link xref="files-delete">delete</link> the search as you would any
other file. Please note that this saved search behaves like a file rather
than a folder, and does not actually contain the items it
lists. Deleting the search does not affect those files.

I've added it to the branch origin/gnome-3-0
