Description Milan Bouchet-Valat 2011-05-20 13:02:33 UTC
I have two address books: Personal, which is where I manually add people, and Collected addresses, which contains people I wrote to. This is all nice and good.

But some people from Personal are also in Collected addresses (not all of them, not sure why). And this prompts Evo to suggest me twice the same name and address when I start typing their names in the To: field.

Easy fix is to avoid adding twice the same address to the list of suggested addresses.

Still an issue with 3.12.7 . Note that the workaround listed in the description does not apply when the contacts are from server-side address books.

Not a complete solution, there can still happen duplicates for contacts which have filled multiple email addresses. That's due to limitations of the current code. A "simple" contacts (those with one email address only) and contact lists can be filtered for duplicates.
