Description Máirín Duffy 2011-05-15 15:54:42 UTC
Running F15 beta + updates, when in nautilus with a file or files selected, pressing the delete key does not delete the files.

Discovered holding down some combination of ctrl, shift, or alt and delete works, but consider physically how this key combination would operate on a full-size keyboard especially for those of us with small hands. It's grinded my workflow to a halt multiple times since I upgraded;

If this is working as designed ( :( ) is there some way to restore the delete key's functionality via configuration somewhere?

Yes, if it worked(TM).

Comment 2 Máirín Duffy 2011-05-16 11:59:21 UTC
Is this really a duplicate of 649809? It's a bug that delete doesn't work in the first place, not that the workaround doesn't work!
Comment 3 André Klapper 2011-05-16 12:07:02 UTC
Delete not working would be NOTABUG as that was a design decision (check the nautilus-list@ archives)...
