GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 65014
The "Appearance" control applet no longer works.
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
Package: control-center Severity: normal Version: 0.38 Synopsis: The "Appearance" Sawfish control applet no longer works. Bugzilla-Product: control-center Bugzilla-Component: other capplets Description: Was playing with the Sawfish themes and was successfully able to switch through a bunch of them. Then tried Redmonk. Didn't like it. Clicked on Appearance again and the pop-up was a blank tile with no controls or text except OK and Cancel. Every time I click on Appearance it is now the same crash. The OK button does not work. The Cancel button causes the crash and the notification that brought me to this bug report. Tried logging out and back in. I get the Crux sawfish theme which is what I had before I ever clicked on Appearance. But the Appearance control applet's behavior is unchanged--a blank popup that crashes when you click the Cancel button. Debugging Information: (no debugging symbols found)...0x40571989 in __wait4 () from /lib/i686/libc.so.6
