Description eruyome 2011-05-13 15:02:55 UTC
I searched for the particular bug, but didn't find it, so I decided to open a new bug (though, I believe it is a known error).

It's an issue for gnome for as long as I remember it. The mutter window decorations lack anti-aliasing, and with them being rounded, they appear ugly, especially when over a dark background.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Use a dark colored wallpaper (any color will do, but It will appear uglier there).
2. Notice the rounded-corner window decoration for closing (the 'X' button).

What should you see?

A smooth and beautiful rounded corner, like in the mockups.

What do you see instead?

An ugly "blocky-ish" corner.
