Description Reinout van Schouwen 2011-05-12 10:56:15 UTC
In previous Epiphany releases, it was possible to click on topic labels to select them in the add bookmark dialog.
In 3.0 you can just click on the checkboxes which makes it harder to add topics to bookmarks. Is it possible to go back to the old behavior?

I don't recall touching this at all, so I'd say it's a change in GTK+.

Too little information here. What is the relation between those labels and combo boxes ? And how did the activation work before ?

I'm talking about the checkbox (not combobox) in front of a topic label, when the topic list in the bookmarks manager is expanded. It looks like this:

[x] Topic 1
[ ] Topic 2
[x] Topic 3

To (un-)check a topic, it used to be sufficient to click on the topic label. Currently, you have to move the mouse arrow precisely to the checkbox corresponding to a topic before (un-)checking it is possible.

For comparison: in HTML forms, you get the corresponding behavior with <label for="checkbox_id">Some label</label>. This makes it much easier to hit a checkbox target.

Also, compare Firefox' Add Bookmark dialog, where you can click the labels themselves to (de)select them.
