Description Joseph Coffland 2011-05-11 18:39:53 UTC
Right clicking on certain applets in the second display causes the popup menu to show up on the first display. It is important to note that this occurs on configurations with multiple X-servers not with Twin-View. It happens with at least the following applets:

  Window List
  Window Selector
  Workspace Switcher

And possibly the clock applet as well.

I've already tested the following patch but it did not help:

  http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-panel/commit/?id=8261b19d008b92ab614ca6e3797b65ca125cec34

This bug is related to https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=632369 and https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/774427 which was recently fixed with the following patches in Ubuntu 11.04.

I don't agree that this is a duplicated. The problem listed in the title of bug 632369 has been fixed by the supplied patches. However this related issue has not.

If someone encountered the remaining problem the title of this bug would be more appropriate.

I suppose it's not a big deal as long as this issue does not get lost.

If you read all comments in the other bug, you'll notice that your bug is mentioned there and this is why the bug wasn't closed as FIXED.

I read them thoroughly and I see your point. I just want to make sure this issue doesn't get lost.
