remove JavaScript from API docs

Per discussion on desktop-devel-list; until we have a better story for it.

pushed, thanks.
Comment 2 Giovanni Campagna 2012-08-12 21:13:28 UTC
It should be said that 15 months passed from that message, and a lot changed in Python and Javascript, with increased adoption and support in the latter.
Also this was partially discussed at the GNOME OS BoF, and the outcome (as I understood it) was not to advertise any binding above the other, but to show all possibilities.

At least, I'd like to have this change discussed again in desktop-devel-list or gnome-os-list.
Comment 3 Frederic Peters 2012-08-13 04:47:08 UTC
Sure; but I don't think there's much point in advertising it as there's no documentation listed for javascript at the moment: http://developer.gnome.org/references#api-bindings (to be honest there's a seed reference manual, but I'm not sure you'd want that).
Comment 4 Colin Walters 2012-08-13 12:52:25 UTC
Yeah, let's revisit once we have docs.
Comment 5 Giovanni Campagna 2012-08-13 16:44:05 UTC
We don't have Python either, but ok.
Really time to get introspection docs...
