Description Marko Myllynen 2011-05-04 11:05:17 UTC
It would be nice if gnome-shell would show date and time according to locale specified by LC_TIME, not by LC_MESSAGES.

From localedef(1) manual page:

LC_MESSAGES ... contains information about the language messages should be printed in, and what an affirmative or negative answer looks like.

LC_TIME ... describes the rules for formatting times and dates in the locale.

Thanks.
