GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 649217
broken notification
Last modified: 2011-06-10 17:26:22 UTC
Created attachment 187057 [details] Diffrence between the two versions In rhythmbox-2.90.1-2 (soryy, cannot figure out the according change on git) the rhythmbox information bubble showed the prev/play/next buttons as seen on http://www.heise.de/imgs/09/6/5/1/9/0/6/10-rhytm-bb66522e3d096828.png But in rhythmbox-2.90.1-3 (http://git.gnome.org/browse/rhythmbox/commit/?id=fe7cb880652aa36786e9e24490f2aa2553c8ac10) there is only a 'next' button in the bubble, that's not how it is supposed to be.
rhythmbox-2.90.1-3 is a snapshot from 20110426 having the latest commit fe7cb8852
Rhythmbox needs to be started after GNOME Shell to use the new notification features.
Rhythmbox is definetely started after gnome-shell.

I can confirm this bug with same version. Also, definitely started after gnome-shell.
this issue is fixed in http://git.gnome.org/browse/rhythmbox/commit/?id=e0e5d06e3e3d2651639c0d0579635c3aa126dd4f
