This is the visualization of any video with new gstreamer version

I've updated the gstreamer packages (debian) from 0.10.30 to 0.10.32 and now every video file appears with horizontal lines in totem.

No matter the video file codec, the video files can not be correctly reproduced.

Does it work if you start totem like this from the command line:

 $ ORC_CODE=backup totem

?
Comment 2 Tim-Philipp Müller 2011-05-02 10:55:14 UTC
Also, what version of liborc is that with? Try to upgrade to 0.4.14 if you have something older than that.
Comment 3 jesusda 2011-05-02 11:09:26 UTC
yea! It works fine with this arguments. (ORC_CODE=backup totem
)

Liborc version: liborc-0.4-0 debian package (version 1:0.4.13-1)

On debian testing this is the latest version.

¿What can I do?
Comment 4 jesusda 2011-05-02 11:14:34 UTC
I just updated the liborc package from Debian SID.
Whith 0.4.14 totem works fine again.

Thank you!

I will notify the debian mantainers about this bug.

Thank you for your help!

Grab the liborc-0.4 0.4.14 version from unstable. It should fix it.
