Description Jeremy Bicha 2011-05-02 01:00:36 UTC
It appears that the design change to not have the Del key delete files is not creating enough concern for that change to be reverted. Some, maybe we're a minority, would like the option to set the "Move to Trash" back to the same standard that every other file browser uses. Please add a dconf/gsettings setting for this, and probably for the "Delete without sending to trash" keybinding also since some have trouble remembering (or accidently hitting the wrong one) Shift or Ctrl+Del.

This is not really separate from 648658, and this was one of my suggestions there (see https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=648658#c36), so I'll close it as a duplicate.
