Description Björn Lindqvist 2011-04-29 17:01:02 UTC
Hi,

I'm formally asking for the possibility of
hosting my project 'GtkImageView: image viewer widget for Gtk+' in the GNOME
infrastructure, so here you have the needed info about it:

homepage: http://trac.bjourne.webfactional.com/
name: gtkimageview

I believe it satisfies all the project prerequisites (http://live.gnome.org/ProjectPrerequisites).

My requirements are git, bugzilla component, ftp for releases and also some at developer.gnome.org to put the generated documentation.

Don't you already have a git account named bjornl?
Comment 2 Björn Lindqvist 2011-04-30 07:20:58 UTC
Yes that is correct. But in addition to that, I need/want bugzilla, ftp and document hosting. I want to move my project because it was to much work hosting it myself (damn spammers).
Comment 3 Björn Lindqvist 2011-05-02 07:38:00 UTC
Is there some additional info you require from me? Or do I need to post this request in another forum to get official recognition?
Comment 4 Olav Vitters 2011-05-02 19:10:41 UTC
Nothing needed.

For documents on library/developer.gnome.org, file a bug in websites product please. But you'll need documentation in tarballs.

For bugzilla: file a bug under the bugzilla.gnome.org product.

For ftp: I'll add the permissions.

For importing the git repository: https://live.gnome.org/Git/NewRepository

Note: Looking at the repository, suggest to create multiple

Perl repositories should be called something like perl-GtkImageview. Same for the tarballs. We do not want any confusion between the C stuff and perl stuff.
Comment 6 Björn Lindqvist 2011-05-10 15:46:52 UTC
Have I been granted ftp access yet? Anything I need to do to get a component in bugzilla (Bug 649252)?
Comment 7 Björn Lindqvist 2011-10-05 21:20:09 UTC
Hello again, git and bugzilla works, but I still have no idea how to put releases on ftp.gnome.org? Do I have an ftp account to that server?
Comment 8 André Klapper 2011-12-03 13:15:48 UTC
Can somebody please answer Björn?
Comment 9 Owen Taylor 2012-03-05 20:47:00 UTC
You don't have the 'FTP upload' privilege to upload tarballs to master.gnome.org; please contact acccounts@gnome.org for that.
